Tobi was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her professional preparation attending Valdosta State University where she received her Masters in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology with Suma Cum Laud honors. Tobi is an ASHA member and has received her Certificate of Clinical Competence as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Tobi's work experiences include a variety of settings and ages of people including early education to rehabilitation from birth to 103.

Tobi began working as the Abilitations/Speech Bin Catalog Manager in 2006. Aside from being the Catalog Manager, she is involved in New Product Development for speech and language products bringing new products to market and has created her own speech products as well.
